Mr Bean and his Mini

I recently rented "The Best Bits of Bean", staring Rowan Atkinson. In one episode, Bean is late for a dentist apointment and doesn't have to time to get dressed. The solution? He changes from his PJs into his smart suit and tie while driving his lime green Mini! The shirt wasn't too bad, but to get his pants on, he ends up in the back seat, stearing with his feet as he pull on his trowsers! (He used a brick to keep the accelerator pressed). It was an amazing thing to watch! (Kids, don't try this at home!)

He has a nice collection of cars also.

Was it a Mini he used to carry a chair back to his apartment? Another great scene regardless.

I think that he has (or had) a McLauren to tool around in. Not a bad ride if you don't mind sluggish driving!

I believe he crashed it and was written off.

I saw one of the actual Bean Minis in Edinburgh, Scotland last summer.

Mostly an Aston Martin man I thought...
Used to write a fantastic column in 'CAR',
seems to be writing for 'Octane' these days.
A good head on those sloping shoulders and yes, funny too.

There was an article about his cars in CAR and he was big on Aston Martins. So am I but I don't own one.

He drives a rather smart DB7 in "Johnny English." The London traffic chase scene where he starts out stuck on the car hauler is very funny.

Sams club offers a colletion of MR Bean shows. And they are just way to funny. I think my favorite was when he put a chair on the roof of his mini and tied ropes to the controls and drove it down the road!!
