Many people think that taking a supercar or a preformance car and removing the roof makes the car look better. They do handle worse, however. In this case, I think McLaren made a mistake. That's just one ugly car.
I also find it to be an anachronism, due to the fact that McLaren has only made two road cars, the F1 and the MP4-12C. I think that decapitating this car just ruins the whole premise of the car as a piece of technological artwork.
