Moving wiper motor

OK, I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find the details. I'm contemplating moving my wiper motor to the other side of the car. What to I need to do in order to be sure the wipers move and park correctly? Invert wheel boxes?

I just want to move it a little on Bugsy my '68 so the Buyeye front hinged bonnet doesn't hang up on ot on the way up and down. An inch would do and solve what I think looks like a clearance issue. Anyone done that?.

OK, nobody has jumped in and said it can't be done. So... I'm going to start drilling.

Thanks, So does it work OK?

I'm moving mine just to unclutter that side since the supercharger carb sits in that area. I've already removed my hinge pockets and filled the pedal box hole on the passenger side.

Yep, It works fine. I'm not sure if the wheel boxes are reversed or not, I assembled and tested the whole thing while out of the car then installed it as seen in the pics. I am using an aftermarket wiper switch so I have removed the stock 'park' limit switch assembly from the top of the motor and I just turn it off when the wipers reach the bottom of the windshield.

In your picture your wheel boxes are reversed, but since you are not using the parking mechanism I guess it doesn't matter.
Thanks again.
