P.S. That would have been funnier to me if they had used Eli instead of Peyton. For those of you who don't know, Eli also graduated from Ole Miss.![]()

basil, i know someone that sponsored and tutored a young man through aviation school dispite harsh criticism, defended a fellow employee from slander, lies and harasment at the risk of themself being fired, saved another man while at knife point from being robbed and killed as others looked on at the expense of ending up in the hospital with a cracked jaw, what im trying to say is good people will do the right thing no matter what others may do, think or say.Basil said:rlwhitetr3b said:That view was shown in the movie. I think you hit the nail on the head. I've seen a lot of truly good people maligned or denigrated unfairly in my lifetime.

I have been told by several people the book is much better than the movie. I have heard that several scenes in the movie were played down because what really happened would have been too graphic and violent. Still, a very inspiring story.![]()
