Opening in September.

Can't wait to see it.

Me neither. I do hope they give credit to the entire crew, not just the captain. Not to diminish his contribution, but if I recall, one of the flight attendants was half under water as the last person off.

A similar incident happened to an Air Canada flight some years ago. I remember reading about it in a glider magazine I get.
The incident became known as the Gimli Glider.

If you read Sully's book "Highest Honor" - he really does go out of his way to emphasize the teamwork involved in this incident having such a successful result. It's a good read, and you can pick it up off Amazon fairly cheap these days.

Did you read where one guy commented on the landing, saying it was lousy, it takes all kinds! The captain of that aircraft should be complimented on getting it down in one piece and saving the passengers and crew. When those aircraft loose power, they glide like a chrome crowbar. He did a fantastic job as I see it! :encouragement:
