I have a 3000 BJ7 and am now trying to fit up the hood frame mounting brackets ready for welding on before the car goes to the paint shop,i only have the hood frame so cannot set the hood up to see were they should be positioned (if it is practical to do so!) can anyone give me any guidance/measurements ? <font color="red">

KFC,

Welcome! I have a BJ7 that is at the paint shop. I could take a few pics and measurements when I go next time .. probably this weekend. I would think that you could and should set up the hood frame by using the clamps at the windshield top corners and clamping/tacking the mounting brackets in position. Still, if no one else contributes, I will try to get you the measurements.

Cheers,
John
