Triton, Tribsa, Norvin, Beezumph, lots of combinations were tried in the 1960s. Mine was a Matchless 500 single which limited things a bit though possibly a Velocette thumper might have fitted.
With all these hybrids in bikes I am surprised that it is less common now than back when they were almost new.

I have been enjoying reading Classic Bike Guide recently and quite tempted by the new Royal Enfield 500cc. single.
Anyone have one of those? Not fast exactly, but I bet its a great ride!

Better get one quick, there shutting down production. They are cool. Brakes are not very good when compared to newer bikes.
