motor mounts??

needed new mounts for the midget and i got some lightly used ones from an mgb (don't know what year). i was told that they might fit and so far i'm not having any luck. do they not fit or do i just need to fiddle around with it to get them in place? cheers.
 
Not the same at all. MGB mounts are flat with two studs on one side, Midget is curved with 2 studs on one side and one stud on the other.
