TR2/3/3A Motor Mount Shims

Or as the parts manual calls it, " piece, packing, engine mounting".

So, I have forgotten where you put these shims. They look like they are meant for the engine side of the rubber mount...but the parts manual states, "between mounting and frame".

I figure it's another case of confusing semantics, but would like to double check with you guys!

Hi John,

Mine were on the top of the rubber mount and get sandwiched by the metal motor mounting plate affixed to the engine.

Excellent! I had followed that thread, but missed your video...always informative! I started second guessing when reading the manuals. Until this build I did not realize how many little mistakes are in both the service manual and parts catalogue.
