Motor mount pedestals

I'm in need of some motor mount pedestals for an A-series Midget. (It seems the UglyBug stole them from my Midget.) Does anyone have a spare pair that they can part with in exchange for a few beer tokens?

Thanks.

I've got this pair, yours if you want them. They've been reenforced by a PO, came in the '74 donor Midget I had.

Drew, are you sure those were re-enforced by a PO?? I have seen pedestals with the same angle-iron pieces on them (I might even have a pair buried in all my junk!) identical to those in the picture...unlikely two POs would do it in exactly the same way! Does anybody out there know if this was a factory modification?

I'm not sure at all that they were modified. That's just how they were on the '74.

Are those stops to keep the engine from moving back in the event of a crash?

Just naturally assumed that is what my right knee was for :cryin: (reverse for right hand drive)

My son's 79 has a cable from the rear engine plate to the body to restrain the engine in a crash. The angles on the brackets may have only been for a short time.

Trevor

I believe that I have a spare set. Yours for the postage if interested.

Thanks everyone. Drew is sending me his spare set.
