My Healey got an adjustable steering column.
Can I fit a Moto Lita boss for non adjustable column (part B6) on my Healey ? I always have the steering wheel as close to the dash as possible. Anybody knows how the Moto Lita boss is fixed to coulmn ?

Hi Karl I don`t know if you can swap the bosses around but my guess is that you cannot. Since my car was undergoing complete restoration I installed the boss and it is secured with the nut on the steering column then installed the trafficator wiring and head, I ran some .032 safety wire through the column to pull the wires back with. By the way some shrink sleeving works wonders on holding the wires togther. Then I installed the wheel and horn button

Hello Skip. Just saw a Moto Lita boss for sale on Ebay.
But when I look at the Moto Lita website; boss application list, it looks like they only deliver boss for non adjustable columns : From the website;
Austin Healey
100/4, 100/6, 3000 with non-adjustable column B6 F
100/4, 100/6, 3000 with non-adjustable column B7*** F

KCH, Moto Lita builds hubs for both adjustible and non adjustible steering collums.However they are not interchangeable.Maybe you can ask the seller which one he is selling.--FWIW---Keoke

I agree with Keoke I seem to remember seeing 2 different hubs and the adustable one was about twice what my non adjustable one cost.
