What a shame.

A car built to race, for the road that's probably never going to be used as fully as it should be....
 
Agree with James.

Whenever I see some of these glorious cars limited to just static shows and museums, it seems such a waste.

One of my favourite things is to see Tony Wang run his GTO completely hammer-and-tongs at the Lime Rock Vintage (below). I've seen him run it many times and it's fantastic.

Looks like they're going to have to update the listing on serial # 3505GT. It probably would've gotten another couple of mil if it was painted red. :laugh:

Edit: Looks like Alain de Cadenet owned it for a few years.
