Moss Motors T Series Parts - Bad Gaskets!

Just about everyone who buys the fuel light sending unit and gasket set from Moss, is having problems with them. Some of the units are failing from the beginning and the gaskets are failing at a high rate! To those who don't know, not only is it a royal pain in the butt to take off, draining the fuel out, pulling the tire rack off, it's practically impossible to pull the fuel tank off of a finished car without scratching it somewhere. When a new fuel indicator unit is installed, you don't want to see it anymore. I don't know who Moss is getting these units from, but their about the poorest quality part they sell and the gaskets are useless. They need to address this issue and do it now! If one is needed, I would find another supplier for these units until Moss fixes the problem. Everyone seems to have a problem with the leaking gaskets! PJ

Hmmm, they aren't listing the sending unit anymore, just the gaskets. Maybe/hopefully their working on it. PJ

For a TD, I think this is the more reliable method. :friendly_wink:

Is this an MG- T series post?

I guess it is Basil, I wasn't sure where to put it as it is on a vender part. I guess I should have put it in the MG section. Sorry. PJ
