This is the "Dark Canyon Red" Rick mentioned. On the car it looks like a true maroon to me. I do have some pictures taken just after I sprayed the engine, and it looks blood red in the pic, but didn't really look that way actually.
I would not expect the engine color to match the body color in the engine compartment. Unless, perhaps, someone resprayed the whole car Ford Dark Canyon Red!

Ronzi, my engine block looks like it was the same color as yours one day long ago and has now gone more "orangy", But if I paint my master cxlinder and heater hosuing the same color, maybe it'll look like the right one. It looks like Doc's throttle cable runs stright down to his front axle, some sort of Elsinorian direct drive no doubt. And I too have those rathset thingees and they are the bells!

That blue cable routes up, out and underneath... to a great-giant flywheel mounted horizontally under th' fake engine. It's a real task to pedal fast enuff to get 'er spinnin' fast enuff to overcome th' inertia! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Doc, the reversible ratcheting box-end wrench is the greatest thing since beer, canned or otherwise.
I took that pic some time ago to illustrate the single drawback to that style of wrench: it will not fit in some applications because of the thickness of the box-end ring, necessary to accomodate the ratchet mechanism. Note that the Gearwrench will not fit all the way down on the nut because it interferes with the edge of the valve cover.

Doc, check out the Craftsman version of the wrench. Not only are they US-made instead of Chinese / Taiwanese, but they have a locking flex head. VERY nice tool.
As for colors, remember one more thing. Unless you're going for a show win, the engine can be whatever color you like, just as the body can be. It's just paint and it will be painted again in the future. I don't like red engines in red cars, especially if th reds are different. If I had a red B, I'd personally choose another color, perhaps gray or Austin green.

I like the Duplicolor Red Canyon Red as shown above, then I put the Duplicolor hi heat clear over that, it won't coolant stain like the Moss paint will. When you go looking for the Canyon Red, you'll find in the Truck and SUV paints, not engine paint, that's why I over coat it with the hi heat clear.
