I get an email announcing that the new Moss Motors forum is open...neat i think to meself. I surf on over join up and start nosing around...i scroll thru the list of car-specific forums....lo and behold...There Is NO Sprite or Midget board. What a bunch of lame O's. guess our spridget money isnt good enough to warrant our own board to them.....sorry rant over...

hehehehe.. I'm sure It's a glitch, or an oversight. Give 'em a holler, I'm sure there's an explination.

Yeah... Mark has fallen victim to the same fate as the MILLIONS of Micro$hite users...

"Microsoft Error 666: Insert $20-bill in floppy drive A."

Lame-0 indeed. They'll "fix" it as soon as they get wind of this POST!!!

GO MARK!!!

Hehe, I posted to them first and actually got an apology.

Well done, Sir!!!

I saw the Moss announcement. I must say, though, that I'm more likely to be seen here at the ORIGINAL British online Pub! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

They opened a Pub?!!!!! hmmmmmm... I dunno. I like the beer here. It's like walking out of Seneca Lodge to head down to Wall-Mart.
Ok it's not quite that drastic.

well... it kinda is... Moss doesn't do just British cars.....

Thanks! I hope that just because they can throw $$ at a forum that you all will remember "who's your daddy!" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

That "other" forum looks very very familiar, but trust me guys, I will continue to bend over backwards to provide THE best place on the internet for this great hobby. Just remember, this is the one, the only, the ORIGINAL British Car Forum and Pub. So there! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

This has become too much like home to leave.

And we even get to talk to the web master, what a deal.

Yeah I headed over, signed up and checked it out as well. The whole time I was comparing it to the BCF. I'll visit their once in a while but plan on still hanging out here most of the time.

Maybe I'm just used to the workings of the BCF more than other forum styles but I feel much more at home here. To me, the BCF is an online version of my local car club. It's a multi-marque club so one gets used to the variety of cars and people. So much so that I almost feel sorry for people that stick with single marque clubs or sites. The variety is what makes it wonderful.

But if we all join up there, we can flame all of the H2 owners! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

HEY, careful there! First Miatas, now PT Cruisers? Do I have a target on my back or something? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Kind of makes ya wonder why they don't do a registery by type. As far as I know there is none for Bugeyes, Sprites and Midgets.

Those rascles though, they know who orders what, for what, by state in any case.

I went over there, made a few posts just to see what type of folks replied.

I noticed no Spridget forum...also no Lotus forum.

I suppose they only want forums for the bulk of the products they sell. I've also noticed that in the tech forums, the moderators are quick to point out which parts can be purchased to fix the problem!!!

Don't worry Basil -- you're still the original and best.
