Got a call from a guy that has a pal who owns a woody wagon...complete, unrusted desert car here in New Mexico. Guy who has it collects American stuff but got this in a group of vehicles years ago and now needs the room. Don't need it but am curious enogh to drive the 100 plus miles to take a look. Runs and drives so can't be all bad.

It will for sure be a car that cannot stay....I've had a few Minors, but the addiction to buying and keeping has to end. I was told the car is rust free, no body damage and all the wood is good. He said the interior was still nice and the tires hold air. We'll see, maybe later this week.

Ray - you beat me to it...its alsdo one of the cars I want...either a woody wagon or the pickup model.

Had one - these cars need a front disc brake conversion, but are very usable classics.

My Mum wrecked one in 1960!! It was a great car till she went straight on a hair-pin bend  ! Hunter green with lovely yellowish wood!

my mother and her sister had one (sedan)in 1956. They came from Holland - couldn't speak english - bought it in Vancouver for $250 - named it Dinky, learned how to drive and drove it to Toronto via the USA. drove up a mountain till it started rolling backwards, had the rear bumper fall off - stuck it in the back and got stuck somewhere for three days case no one in town had even heard of the tire size
