Morris' Law of Probability bit me twice.

Took Emma out for a ride, an hour or so.

Driver's side window will only crank down about 4".
Emergency brake is useless. Don't ask me how I know but it's a good thing the neighbor didn't put their mailbox 6" to the right.

Adding...

I didn't force the window any farther down, but it rolled up okay. And there's no resistance whatsoever when I pull up the emergency brake. Rolled down the driveway before I could get to the front door.

Are the rear brakes adjusted properly? If so, then the handbrake cable should be tightened. But always adjust the brakes first!

Haven't had any issues with the brakes, and they worked fine tonight.

Do I have to take the inside door panel off to figure out what's up with the window? I'm wondering if it's not off the track?

Or the cable might be flat out broken. But it's most likley an adjustment issue like Steve said.
Until then, opt for the "common red" E brake. Store in trunk, jam under wheel when needed.
Get "dahubby" to pull the inner door panal and see what's up before something gets bent or broken.
Do you have speakers in the doors? It might be a wire caught under the glass.

Ahh, I do have speakers in the doors. And I'll throw a wedgie in the trunk for emergencies. I'll get dahubby right on that tomorrow. Along with a 'few' other things regarding cars!!! Like getting off dead center with Binabox!

((Ben, ever figure out a price on those little gremlins? I would be interested in one - just the gremlin on a base, not in the glass etc - if you come up with some figures))

I'll let you know soon.. I gotta get busy on one for our clubs christmas party. So I'll be out in the garage, catching some more of the little buggers
The trick is using the right bait. prefer a fresh pack of genuine Lucas fuses.

I have a couple relays if you want some additional bait.

I am in short supply of bits that have good legible "Lucas" emblems on them. I have piles of old components, but not many that are actually from LBCs.

Let me see what I can come up with for you.
