If anyone cares to check it out, my dad's latest Morgan +8 Corvette conversion (aka The Bullet) has been test driven and mentioned in the April 08 R & T.
The magazine thoroughly tested the car independently and
reported the following figures;

0-10 mph 0.4 second
0-20 mph 1.0
0-30 mph 1.7
0-40 mph 2.3
0-50 mph 2.9
0-60 mph 3.6
0-70 mph 4.8
0-80 mph 5.5
0-90 mph 6.3
0-100 mph 7.9
0-110 mph 9.0
0-120 mph 10.2
0-130 mph 12.6

0-100 ft 2.7
0-500 ft 6.6
0-900 ft 9.3
0-1320 ft 11.7 sec @ 123.2 mph

Curb weight: 2320 lbs.

Just wanted to give props to my dad, who works hard to stay in the Morgan biz, despite all obstacles.

read the article - VERY cool - very fast - beats a Vantage/ A8 etc. etc. amazing - thanks for pointing it out

I've heard nothing but compliments about the conversion, and the installation is exceptionally clean -- Bill drove (?) one from California to the Washington DC MOG a couple years back.

Anyone who is a Morgan enthusiast with a hankering for murderous horsepower really should check it out.

Come to think of it, I'd love to see a "Top Gear" test drive by "the Hamster".....

I caught the article as well. Fantastic to see folks still working to keep cars like that coming to the USA -- even if can't afford them, I'm still glad they're here.
