Hi,
New to this forum so here goes. I live in Dover DE and just returned from the UK. Lived there two years this time but have a total of 16 years in the UK. Bought an 89 +4 Morgan while there, sold it /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif to purchase a 82 +8. +8 still in the UK having lots of restoration work done. Hope to bring it to the states later this year. Looking for insuramce and could use some advice on who to contact. Car is not a show car nor antique but simply used for pleasure and mostly in good weather.

Ciao

Hi Joe,
Welcome to the forum. Go to https://www.hagerty.com for an insurance quote. I just got coverage on my TR4-A today and the coverage and rates were great. Also very friendly people to deal with - I am VERY impressed.
Good luck with your car.

I recently went with JC Taylor which is very near Philadelphia. I am not sure if you would qualify for their coverage, but it would be worth a try. They have been very helpful and cooperative both on the phone and via internet.
Welcome to the group.

Hi Joe;

Welcome back to the States & Welcome to the BCF from the Pocono Mtns of PA:

I have a Co. called; "Condon & Skelley" out of Maple Shaded, NJ; Thats near Phil: Thier phone # is: 1-800-624-4688; Ask for "Andrew-Cust Serv" and You can Ref My Name if you wish; Russ Czura:

I`ve been Ins with them for a Really long Time: Just recently I had to make "2 Claims" and Man, Were they Johnny on the Spot & came thru "Big Time"!

I have a `66 TR4A-IRS with an Agreed Upon Value of $20K for an Annual Fee of Approx. $130.00: Relative to your +8; I believe you can insure it for its face value in the condition its in "Right Now" & adjust as you complete the restoration process? Mine of course is considered an "Antique" (25yrs or older vehicle) / "Classic" (20yrs or older vehicle): / What they may consider yours is; "Specialty Vehicle" but I`m not certain? The only way to find out is to Call:

Have Fun There and Here;

Regards, Russ /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

PS: Hey Dave; Will you be @ Hellertown this Sun? Weather is Looking Really Good: I`ll be wearing My Grey BCF Tee Shirt with a TR4 Logo on the Front and Probably having a Beer or Two:
