After dealing with a defective( BRAND NEW) wiring Lomb for a day and 1/2, it has been test fired.
For the first time in 54 years the heart beats!!
Of course there was little doubt that the Miata 1600 would run, they are known for this! Still
when you prime the SU carbs , and it fires right off first try, feels GOOD!

Yes , I really want to drive this little lady. Need to sort out the hydraulics and finish the interior ect.
The tr4 front suspension and steering will make it more than a little fun to drive. The Miata drivetrain is
a LOT lighter than the original lump, I will check the corner weights, but am guessing under 400lbs per.
