They should have no problem with California legality as the engine is already propelling several other Ford sedans and minivans around the state. The Morgan Roadster also uses OBD-II (as does the Aero8 and the last of the Rover V8 powered cars).
The V6's are a wee bit lighter and are able to be placed a little further back in the chassis than the V8's. They also have more torque and hp. The V6's made it into a more responsive and better handling Morgan.

I thought the mirror heads should be round. Those bumpers are an old style.
