More wiring questions on my 59 BE

Unfortunately some of the tags I put on my wiring harness fell off and now that I'm reconnecting things...its a hassle.

Got the front turn signals connected, looked good and then installed them into the car. As soon as I screwed in one of the signals, it stopped glowing, looks like the ground to the body from the screw caused a problem.

There's 3 wires going to the turn signal, one goes to the base of the lamb holder, and the other two go to the 'top' of the holder.

Can anyone give me a clue as to where what goes where? I'm working with a meter and a diagram, but unfortunately the harness is in such bad shapek it's hard to tell what's what. I'm even thinking of getting a new wire harness and start from scratch - would like to avoid that time and expense....thanks...

Can you see the colors on the wires?

They all look black. I'm going to have to cut the wrap on the harness to get the color.

Black = ground
Green = parking light
Green/red = left turn
Green/whie = right turn
Measure ohms between wires and a good ground source (battery)
That with close to zero ohms is ground.
The others should have resistance to ground.
Check resistance between right and left light wires. If two wires on opposite sides of the car make contact, they would be parking light wires. The others should be turn lights.
The right and left turn lights shouldn't have contact with each other, parking light wires should have common contact.
