The GT40 belongs to and is driven by Robert Andersson of Parkton, MD. His son races a MiniCooper. Great people and Ms. Andersson shore knows how to put out a great meal trackside.

I mean to do an article on this car, but it's been on my back burner because I'm not confident there's enough reader interest and also frankly because it will take a lot of time to research and write a really strong article. When you work for tips and "clicks"...

The Anderssons have been coming to the Turkey Bowl with the GT40 and the mini for years.. nice people.
They had some very intricate and detailed wooden models of a 917 and another (which model escapes me at the moment) which I was told was carved by Mr Andersson.
