If it doesn't, remove the front cover from inside the bell housing, pull the 1st motion shaft forward which will pull the bearing out a little. You'll need to wiggle it but it will come a bit. Once the snap ring is accessible remove it. You can now use a dead blow hammer or block of wood and regular hammer to push the main shaft out the back by tapping the 1st motion shaft. Be aware that this will load the syncros up against the gears but you need to disassemble it down to the bare shaft so it won't hurt anything.
