Hi all.
Had more fun in a somewhat little known area of Utah, about 20 miles South of Blanding, On two trails in the same area one called Arch Canyon and the other Hotel Rock, Both have indian ruins and are on the short list to have the trails shut down if certain people have their way, Im sorry I dont quite know from when, I was too busy chasing my son and looking at all the scenery. We had a great groupe of people from Utah and Colorado, 16 vehicles in total and the kids almost out numbered the adults. There was only one issue that poped up for us, On the way out of Hotel Rock, we had a vehicle roll, Doing a endo into a pierouette on a difficult turn at the top of a steep rock, Luckily he was only shaken up, His roll cage did its job...Mind you this wasnt any spring chicken, He was a seasoned veteran in his 70's /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif
Needless to say it was a great 4 day trip we camped in a great spot across the road from the trail head in our new Car top tent!
Caravan in Green River UT. at Ray's Tavern for a burger, Red Rider, Me, Gary T, Zac B, Troy D
Here is our camp
Day one pic's from Arch Canyon
Along with a nice hike to Arch Canyon
Day two, Hotel rock.
Its big but helps with the graineries on the rocks
EEEewwwwww whats that?
Me driving down the spot where "Red Rider" rolled.
The road out...
Hope you all enjoy, Thanks for reading and looking
