Hello

A couple of basic shround questions...can someone confirm to me whether the shroud attaches to the scuttle (i.e. above the dash) with rivets? I seem to remember this in a picture I saw. If so, can someone confirm how many? Also, how does the peg for the tommeau fit? Should there be a hole in the shround for this?

Thanks for your help.

Yes there is a tenax stud for the tonneau just right of center that will screw through the padded dash top through the shroud and through the scuttle. So you should see a hole in the shroud for this. The tenax stud is a machine thread so it may look like a threaded hole (at least it does on the one I am restoring.

Probably on all the rest of them of that model too.---Keoke--

As I recall, the tenex stud is held in place by a nut under the dash. I also remember that it was difficult to reach.

Thanks. Think I have a hole for the stud but it is very close to the edge. Looks like it would have to go through shroud, scuttle and the top of the dash itself. Does that make sense? Or shold there have been a cutout on the top of my new dash to allow for the nut?

Look on the back side of the dash pad assembly for the hole. Virtually all Lift A Dot studs penetrate their coverings
