Don't miss "50 Years of Spridgets" at Lake of the Ozarks, June 26-29, 2008!!

So far, I've only found one other person in the Louisville area that is planning on attending. He is not 100%, and he is trailering his car. I'm hoping to find someone driving their from Louisville that wants to leave at the same time I do. I keep sending messages to our local club members, I think I may send personal emails to everyone I know in the area that has a drivable spridget.

I saw the list of door prizes, you going to like them. I also saw the stuff for the goodie bags, you going to see stuff you will use. And the auction stuff, oh boy.

Trevor, what are your plans for when you want to travel/arrive etc?
I've found a good sized caravan leaving the STL area late wednesday morning, that I'll tag on to.

Thanks, I've been following that discussion over at mgcars bbs, but I probably won't be hitting St Louis until 6 pm. Unless I can find a way to get away earlier (which I prefer).

Trevor -

When are you planning on departing Louisville?

As it stands now, about noon on Weds. I'd prefer to leave in the morning, but I'm still trying to sort out child care issues.

Let us know if you can make it Trevor, we'll be leaving there at 11 am now, be great if you could make it.

Attack some of these....

Google lake of the Ozarks. Lots of stuff, in fact you name it. We selected it because of so much to do.

Trevor -

Let me know if your plans fall in line for an early departure. As of right now, we are planning on leaving Cincinnati very early Wed. morning, and we have even talked about leaving late Tuesday to avoid heavy traffic. We really have two options due to our location which is north of Cincinnati; either go up to Indy and catch I-70, or down I-71 and catch I-64 near Louisville. We will be trailering, so interstates are the roads of choice.

Barry: I should hit STL around the 11 am mark if all goes well. Where are you meeting up?

We're meeting up in St. Charles, but from there, we're not taking interstates. We'll be taking MO rt 94 from St. Chuck to Jeff City, then US Rt 54 from Jeff City into Osage Beach.
I'm told these are twisties, although I've never driven them myself, but may be not as suitable for a trailer as the 4 laners....
Let us know John.

OK, John when it it closer to time we'll need to exchange cell #'s and routes/itinerary. I'd like to find someone that is driving their spridget along my route so that the gas stops would time out about the same.
