TR6 More leg room needed

I've attempted to modify the seat brackets so they go back a little further. However, I want the seat to go all the way back to the firewall. It just seems the seat is too wide. There would be so much more room if it could get back that far (I'm 6'2" with long legs). I've even removed the lever on the side. Any thoughts?

I seem to recall an article associated with Buckeye Triumphs that a really tall owner -6'7" or so who modified the brackets to get some added space. Sounds like you have already done that though.

You must have really long legs, I am 6'0 and fairly long legged, I have two or three clicks left with a stock seat, maybe the TR250 seat is a little thinner. Are the seat belt mounts in the way?

I am 6'3" and once in I'm fine. I was looking for a bit more movement from the seat for the in-out part and noticed the passenger seat frame is mounted further back than the driver. I'll have to pull the carpets and see why.
