You, Sir, are a brave an true fellow to reveal the real reason for the problem, and are to be commended for your forthrightness! I, on the other hand, have never made any blunders in nearly 40 some odd years in the trades, and will take your example to heart should some small and inconsequential mishap occur!
Well there was a break in the weather so I went out and buttoned up the siding on the leaky window yesterday.
Just in time not to get wet as it started again last night.
Stove is in and working,Sink and faucets are in. Hood is up and venting, All the floor is in cept the landing. I'm gonna have a couple of treads and risers made.
Very nice. It invites cooking. Husband will be tiling our kitchen floor next week. Decided on porcelain rectangular grained tiles. Winter white with a cobalt trim on the outside edges to break from the abutting carpet. I am hoping he can butt the tiles with hardly a seam. Then our kitchen renovation will be done for another 15 years and husband can get back to his garagemajal.
Just ~finishing~ th' kitchen here is on my bucket list.
And Her laundry room.
And clearing the garage so's I might work on a car IN the thing.
And reclaiming one of the "spare" bedrooms for a guest space.
And, and, and...
...oh nevermind. Now I'm depressed. Goin' in an' takin' a nap.
Sigh, Likely. - there are so many trees in the forest. (and fish in the sea and so on.) Course I hear that the problem with screws affects the bite - something about Woods and irons.
