More "eyecandy".

Are the Ferrari and Mserati recreations as well or rebodied?

Excellent looking metal work. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Ferrari has opened a new classics workshop in Maranello where they can actually correct any modification s to cars and bring them back to true original, right off the factory line, specification and certification. They have individual build specs/engineering diagrams/notes on every car they have produced. Like I needed yet another reason to visit Maranello again. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The TR is a "fake" but the Maserati is actually a rebody. I coulda/shoulda been there for the Maser project but other "issues" have me trapped... Oh well... Mebbe "next time around th' Wheel."

...at least I'm gettin' progress pix! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hard to beleive there are folks that can do that by hand.

Now if I was rich I think I would have one in red maybe.

Got a ballpark price Doc?

Yeah, it's the old: "If ya gotta ask..." price.

yep, I know. If you got to ask you can't afford it. Hay, I can't afford it but would still like to know how big the Loto needs to be.

The Jag replicas hit around the 200K area.

The Maser is going to the owner... can't discuss that one.

That's Ok, and that is what I thought. About a quarter of a million.

Just spoke with my broker, he says I can have two. Hmmm, one red one silver. That was this months profits of course, next month may be different.

Yeeee Haaaaa

A friend near here just finished restoring an 'E' type for a customer. The customer had owned and maintained the car for years, it was in pretty nice shape, the resto work to bring the car back to like new condition, according to him, was well over $100k.

Way out of my league of course but in my warped mind seems ok. Would really be fun. Big boys and their toys.

Kind of goes along with the "He who dies with the most toys wins" Feel free to use that as a sig someone.

"lessee.... 20 credit cards with a $10K limit each..."

That's IT!!!

SPACEBUCKS!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Someone some years ago was buried with/in their car...

who says you can't take it with you? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

But that'd be a dreadful waste of cars like these... and even a LBC. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonono.gif

On body count I think Tony is ahead.

Nah, I think I'm still in second place!

Oh, who has more?

Jay Leno, for one....

Yea but I don't know him, just of him.

We *HATE* them. Bofum. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Is it being built by the firm "Tempero"? Very nice indeed. What was the donor vehicle?
Cheers. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
