Somebody in the UK. I do not think I've seen him around any of the message boards I frequent.
 
My word, I want an engine like that.
 
The midget rocks. The run near buildings is unique. I think autocrossing via SCCA keeps you 25' away from any potential things to hit. That driver can handle his car. Neat video.
 
Anyone have an idea on engine, I never heard a midget sound like that.
 
Toyota 4AGE with Individual Throttle Bodies. 1.6L Probably a 20 valve version.

Yes, 16 valve large port version. Not individual TBs like the later 20v but single plate TB. I do beleive he put factory ITBs on the motor later. In this country (usa) this motor was installed in the early Corolla GTS (ae86) and is also basically the same motor as the first gen MR2 only on the MR2 the TB is pointed the other direction. I've done alot of searching trying to find particulars and he stated on a pistonheads thread that there was no cutting involved. Have been unable to find any more info.

Trying to find the datsun 210 5 speed I was literally tripping over MR2s with these motors, cheap too.
