Not quie sure of exact problem from description, but for my Stebro side exhaust where the short tubes of the Stebro were supposed to mate with the end of the factory downpipe I simply got some thin aluminum that comes in a roll at Ace hardware, made a sleeve of a jelly roll like wrapping that went over downpipe and Stebro pipe and used standard muffler clamps to tighten.
