Had to delete my post about baseball being a Brewer fan. Used to like it but WOW what a boring sport.

At least we have a few more weeks of watching baseball, it might not be great baseball, but it's post season cardinals.
 
Go Cheeseheads! (And Cardinal, too) Our Chiefs surprised even our most loyal fans. After losing our QB and other key players, they destroyed the 49'ers Sunday 41 to zip. Guess when your baseball team loses 100 games the last 3 years we gotta have something go right!
 
It has been MISERABLE baseball the past couple weeks. But still, it's baseball. Which IM(not so)HO is far better than any other sport alternative. After baseball, then college hoops, then it's spring training again!!
 
Men's college hoops. I hate the NBA - rather like Nascar. Women's hoops are just BORING. But do love college basketball and March Madness. Come to think of it, the only professional team I follow are the 'birds!

I also follow the cubs too, only in the opposite direction. They've just fired Dusty Baker and replaced him with a submarine.

No matter how bad the Cubs are, just take solace in the fact it could always be worse!

I mean, look at the Raiders this year. I'm thinking this is a "o-fer" team if there ever was one. '76 Bucs watch out! LOL
 
the '06 Bucks are on a similar 'path'.
 
Here in Clovis New Mexico we watch what a local biy is doing with the Eagles..Hank Baskett. He played high school ball here, went to the Lobos in Albuquerque and was undrafted..but went to the Vikings and was traded to the Eagles. He plays sparinly...but they have high hopes for him. Like me, his dad is a retired Air Force guy. Hes a super nice kid and hope he does well. And baseball?? I'm from Cooperstown NY(Hall of Fame) and have been a rabid Yankees and Bills fan forever. Our home there is about four miles from the Hall...pretty place but snows WAY too much.
 
I only care about baseball until footbal season starts. Luckily, as a Cubs fan, the two seasons never overlap for long.

Anyhoo- it's been a very good football season so far...for a Bears and Michigan fan like myself.
 
Personally, I enjoyed watching the spanking Notre Dame gave Purdue last weekend... I'm of the opinion football should remain a predominantly college sport.
