John - its pouring rain here - will look when it lets up...if I do, I'll run it by radiator shop to have cleaned, boiled, etc....will let you know

Tank's in the shop - looked real clean from cursory inspection...they're leaving it in the boil tank over weekend - will pressurize it Monday...can't line it because it has baffle.....I'll let you know something mid-week.

Well, it was a "bound-to" with this thread: I started the MGB yesterday and find I have gastank "issues." Not getting gas from the tank. Hoping the sender is "hung" at half a tank and the thing is actually empty. Much rather fuss with the sender than the tank. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
 
The intake screen on the end of the pickup tube was clogged with rust. Almost got me killed when it quit picking up fuel on a test drive. Quit right in the middle of a blind curve. Caused a few tense moments there. I always heard God looks after children and crazy people. He sure had his hands full with me that day.
