[h=2]300% More Power: 1955 Austin Healey 100 V8 Custom[/h] This 1955 Austin Healey 100 (chassis 1B226361) not only looks really clean and well-prepped, it’s also a pretty wild custom with a 370 HP Corvette 350. It’s said to be in showroom condition, and to have done 6,000 total miles on the engine and body since rebuild, meaning it should be nicely sorted. We agree with the seller that it looks like something Carroll Shelby would’ve put together had history gone a bit differently. Find it here on eBay in Southampton, New York for $59,000 OBO. Special thanks to reader John R. for the submission!

Looks like it sold for 55,000. I don't think you could have built it for that much. Looks well built. About the only thing I don't like about it is the supertrap muffler/tips. Not a big fan of the looks of the supertraps.

This car is what I'd consider a resto mod and when they go on auction they rarely seem to fetch the build price. Nice car. though. (Except for those nasty Supertrapps. And I don't mean nasty in a good way)
