Modern temporary spare tire that might fit 1500?

I am wondering if anyone knows of a modern day temporary spare tire from another make,model car I could store in the trunk for emergencies. I'd like to free up some trunk space for a long drive and have heard a Saab 900 or Datsun 240/260/280 will fit an MGB but nothing about one for a midget? Thanks ahead of time.
