I remember talking/mentioning this in the "Pub" a month or so ago (or was it longer? ... hmmmm) Anyways, Fifth Gear has taken the Ethanol Powered Lotus Exige for a spin.

0-60: under 4 seconds
270HP (more power than the Exige S)
fuel milage... not as good as gasoline, but they still got 25MPG under "normal" driving.

So far, it's been dubbed "the world's fastest ethanol powered car".

it's fun to see "green" conscious cars still generating tire smoke with the best of them /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

270HP, GVW *just* over a ton...I'm in ~LOVE!~ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

and it still gets better gas millage than a lot of those "super cars" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I never thought I'd see a sportscar run on corn squeezins. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
