Geez.
I know I've done these before in shops, but it's been a LONG time.
What a job.
Especially when some moron welded a bracket for the Lucas Alternator over the LH mount bracket.
2X4 on end, on the floor jack, against the pulley....get it so it lifts the car up on the springs, lean on the wing to get the motor up enough to get the silly thing out. And that's with the snubber backed full off.
Well, they're both in, snubber reset, new belt.....another pause and reflect moment....
These are the two ribbed belts. You would think 7 months is a tad short on life expectancy....cracked all to heck. No oil, tension okay...
Rant mode off for the moment.
