That appears to be a factory hardtop for a Bugeye. There were 2 different factory hardtops for MkII Sprites & MkI Midgets - its neither.

Then, though it looks like a Bugweye factory top, it has to be an aftermarket Midget top....you're right....I always forget about the differences in the rear of the Bugeye & the Midget.

That rear window looks different than most I saw on bugeyes.
