I do not have any pictures of the sunroof. All the parts manuals I have do not include sunroof parts. Have you tried JCNA.com and inquire, also of jag-lovers.org, there is a base of MK IXs there. Sorry but I have not seen under the headliner in a IX.
I do not have any pictures of the sunroof. All the parts manuals I have do not include sunroof parts. Have you tried JCNA.com and inquire, also of jag-lovers.org, there is a base of MK IXs there. Sorry but I have not seen under the headliner in a IX. I think I would try to find one in bad shape except for roof and look there. Might be hard in bayou country. If I see something I'll email it to you. I do have the CD for the IX, will look there too!
Michael J.: I do not have the CD. Besides the above Jcna and jag-lovers., there is Martin Robey, who is noted for fabricating metal. https://www.martinrobey.com and there is https://www.bassettjaguar.com. Also, go to https://www.jaguar-world.com and ask under ( hands on Q & A ). Martin and jagworld are in England. Do you have the roof and winding mechanism for the sunroof? If you can find someone to open their sunroof and look for you , you might make one out of an XJ6 part, will not be seen in concours, but might need to be cut down tray size and reweld for the MK IX. Hope this helps!
The sunroof itself is manual with a large T-Handle to open and slide it. The replacement seal is for the front, leading me to believe a tray is needed. I'll check out these other sites and post what I find out.
