Went to Knox Custom Chrome in Knoxville today. Held Miss Agatha's shinny rechromed bumperettes in my hands. They look really good. Jim says that he will ship them on Monday. Question though - what's the purpose of the two holes in each bumperette?

Here's their prices for triple rechroming various parts (all of which I left with them today).

Bumper $180-200
Front overriders $45 each
Rear overriders (bumperettes) $60 each
Grill $180
E-brake handle $45
Dash handle $45
 
Oh god no holes.
 
Two round 1/4" holes in each overidder. One near the top the other near the bottom.
 
Durn previous owner. I just called them and they gone for the week, left a message, and will call again monday morning. Those holes were to be welded up.

Did you get the hole situation worked out with Knox Custom Chrome before they shipped the overriders?
 
Oh, sorry. Yep they answered my phone message at 8 this morning and will fix the holes and ship later this week he hoped.

Seemed very concerned that they had a satisified customer and even said your friend brought some stuff in for chromeing and said." whats with the holes"

Thanks again, that would have been really frusting.
