Mitsouka Motors Ltd.

Just *look* at some of their cars.

Mitsuoka doesn’t advertise, and with sales of just 750 cars a year, it relies on earnings from its dealership arm, which sells imported Lamborghinis, Chryslers, and Volkswagens, to fund vehicle development.
Mitsuoka cars stand out from the blur of Toyotas, Nissans, and Hondas on Japan’s roads.

The 40-year old company builds quite a range of cars with some interesting influences.

See any familiar influences? (some samples below)

The little Indy car knockoff would be nice to have.

I want the "modern" Elf! Are any of their cars importable?

Speaking as someone who just read and re-read the laws for importing cars into the US (before towing my Austin A35 over the border a few weeks ago), I can tell you that the answer is probably "no".

Technically, it could be done for a huge sum of money and effort. Or you could try some illegal trickery such as pretending it was for racing only and then swapping the VIN number and title with a car that was legal and registering it for street use (but this could get you put in federal prison).

If you want to bring cars into the US, they have to be 25+ years old or it's almost impossible.
