TR2/3/3A Mirrors.

I did come up with the convex mirror too. It's on the right side and a flat mirror on the driver side. i like the larger field of view on passenger side. Works a lot better that way.

I got my mirror from Holden Vintage & Classic.

Not been on the road yet but I think it will be much better than just the wing mirror.

Yes, I have Tex "spring back" mirrors on my wings. They have a spring mounted stem so if I knock it, it springs back into position. Need to keep the head tightened after it is adjusted to keep that from moving if I hit it too hard. But they do work and spring back nicely.

I ordered some of these mirrors, but had to return them as they require a quite large hole to mount. In my case, the current mounting holes were too close to the chrome strip to allow that large a hole, and I was not willing to try to drill an “offset” hole. They were a nice product, but be aware of the need for a large mounting hole. Cheers, Mike

Hello Graham

I will have to remove it if I fit the side screen but am hoping I can make a clamp so I could attach it to the stanchion.. I would have to fabricate a clamp that hooks around the front of the stanchion.

The view in the new mirror is great but I nearly lost the mirror.
I noticed it had moved and when I adjusted it the whole thing came off in my hand. The aluminum strip with rubber backing had slipped. Need to find a better piece to go under the screws.

The one that the chap from the Australian TR Register is probably the best way to go, have you had a look at it?

Hello Graham

I did take a look and may try to find a better solution but this is far better than nothing. Realized how useful it was on the remainder of my drive without it.
