Not much time for Tunebugging, but I have gotten a new battery installed, generator loosely bolted on, starter pull/relay hooked up, and throttle cable hooked up. For the first time in a long time the gas pedal does something! Well, at least some mechanical motion is transferred...

Also picked up wiring for the fuel pump, just have to figure out how to run the wires to the pump. Moving right along...

That is good progress Drew, nothing minor about that. As John-Peter said every step forward is a victory of sorts. Just gotta keep chipping away at it.

That's where the pump is located -- on the bulkhead behind the right hand seat. Not sure how to run the wires yet.
 
Physically running the wires. Not sure what the best way to route the wires.
 
Run it with the existing rear loom and zip tie it. Also wrap something (old bike innertube) around it in places where there might be rubbing. You'll know the spots because your old loom will be worn.
 
I ran mine behind the panel in front of the shifter (from a toggle behind the dash), under the carpet then there was a convenient little hole right there where the rear panel is, above the axle. I have mine on a toggle under the dash so I can turn it off if I need to, it is on a switched circuit. It should probably be on an inertia switch or oil pressure sensor (so it shuts off in an accident) but to be honest, I'm not to worried about that.
 
I'll have to look at where I may have a hole route the wire through to the underside of the car.
