Minor Pickup for Tony....

No, because its way too far away!

I saw that and thought, "Tony would love this."

Shame that you can't call in a few favours with the military and get them to send a C-130 to go get it for you. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I'll keep my eyes open, though. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Hah... when I was a kid and my family moved from Northern Thailand, my dad loaded up a 13ft Boston Whaler into a C-130 to take home. The Whaler was used by the Thai military for Mekong patrol and border incursion... it had twin 50 hp merc on the back and a 50 cal browning mounted on the front. There was just enough space for ammo, gas, a gunner and a boatman. NUTS!

Ha, today you'dgo to jail for that, Alan!

..i ain't sayin' nuttin'...

That is lovely. I wonder what the reserve is and how long it would take to drive 837 miles in it ...

My friend rode across the U.S. in a C-130 that was hauling an XKE for an officer. He said that he sat in the Jag for some of the trip.
