Hi,dont get down here much, but I am now the owner of some Morris Minors. I cant seem to find anybody who sells 2nd hand parts in the USA,just the UK. Any tips? thx. I know this is a mini forum, but minors are in the ball park.
I've seen a fair number of used Minor parts on eBay but I don't know of U.S. vendors who specialize in them. Mini Mania will certainly sell some of the common A-series engine parts for the "later" minors and I think some of the gearbox parts are interchangeable with Spridgets. However, if you've got one of the pre A-series engines the U.K. may be your only reliable source for engine parts.
Try Jim at British Auto Parts in Marcola Oregon. I have gotten some good used stuff from him as well as almost anything new you could need. website is www.britautoparts.com. There are some Minor owners in the "Other British Cars" section of the forum too. I have a 61 Minor Traveller as well as a 62 Austin Mini. (As well as 2 triumphs and an english Ford)
