Makes me sick to see the destruction and heart aches that storm caused. Aside from all the people that lost everything, so many of the elderly on a fixed income have lost a lifetime of work and savings. We have close friends that live around Mystic island and the whole first floor and everything in it is ruined by a couple foot of sea water. At least they still have a roof over their head, as many don't. PJ

Mystic Island was basically Ground Zero for where the hurricane hit the shore. That area took it real hard.
We have racing friends in Tuckerton and Little Egg Harbor (near Mystic Island) whom we have not heard from yet.
Both the NY and NJ governors have both made emergency declarations that will prevent insurance companies from forcing high deductibles on hurricane victims. That will help some people a bit.
