I have posted this on the Other Cars section of BCF, since it mostly relates to my non-Brit Twin-Cam Escort.
But I thought I'd post this picture here, since it is a nice shot of me and Bruce W's 1275 Mini hammering away at the Pocono North road course.
This is the first time out for the Escort and it was the first really good run for the Min since it got hit <u>hard</u> at Summit Point by an errant Golf.

Doug: The guy has that single trailer, but our other friend Pete (orange Sprite) has that double trailer. When they have a long way to go, they use Pete's trailer to save gas and share costs.

Dave: 1" racing is just what I'm wanting! We have a fair amount of that in EMRA (which is why I retiring the Spridget to more genteel vintage racing).
I would love to have a go at Mid-Ohio.
The problem is Pennsylvania.....if it wasn't in the way, it would be so much easier and quicker to get to Ohio. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

I still have pretty good season ahead. I'll be at Watkins Glen (in the Spridget) in a few weeks, then Lime Rock (Escort) and then Summit Point (for a 4-Hour twilight/night event with the Escort).
 
It's a blast....

Cpt. Sparkles & AJ are the other Pintos.
The corner workers never call in any contact between us or a couple of the other guys.

I guess they figure we're all friends/family and we'll work it out later. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

They always see us drinking together Saturday night.
(And banging out dents)

No one gets hurt & the worst thing to happen has been a 'new' fender ($25 from the yard)

And yes it is go as fast as you can racing w/o the worries of damaging something that you cherish.
