Mini Race Pictures

My pal Bruce brought his 1275 Mini to Summit Point and ran the Sprint events on Saturday and Sunday. He also drove my Twin-Cam Escort for part of the 4-Hour Enduro.

His car seems to be tracking OK now. He and I collided at Watkins Glen and he bent a RR trailing arm (and my front fender was pranged).
After the crash, his car was "four-tracking" like a wounded crab.
No big deal...an easy fix.

Here's some pics of his car from Summit. I should have a vid with his car in it soon too.

Is that the same body that you posted pictures of after the accident? If so, he's done a great job of putting it back in shape.

I hope you two had a good race weekend.

Yes, same body that was damaged by a VW Golf at BeaveRun. We cut a chunk out of a parts car to replace the right rear corner. The roof was OK, so we just needed the part of the RR fender and the right-side of the trunk area. It looks decent up close.

Great pics -as always- Nial. Sorry the 909 wasn't able to finish the enduro. I think I'll be at the point for the Turkey Bowl this Sat. Michael is supposed to be there with his Elva.
