Mini Lite Wheels

Hap, If I am not mistaken, those very same wheels are now sitting in my garage with some nice 175/70x13 Michelins, waiting to be fitted to ncbugeye, when I can get a few minutes, my youngest son got his Life Scout yesterday and inducted into the Order of the Arrow today.

Needless to say I can completely confirm and support Hap's view of these wheels. They are very nicely made and at least as clean and well-finished as real Minilites, at a comfortably lower price.

Ok, I'm a Brit, and a turncoat - they don't have "Made in UK" stamped on them. Sadly not much does any more.

Thanks for all the wheel info. Wow great information. I will at some point restore a set of original wheels, but for now go with a more modern look. My sprite sits beside my 2004 mini copper S and needs to look a little modern for those late night peaks just before bed. I think I may have a problem. The superlites will almost match my MCS wheels, I like the look. I must PM Hap.Now any ideas how I can hide them from my wife. How about I need new wheels for safety.
Thanks for the help,
Phil

Well in my case the solution was to get her to buy them for me...

That's the best solution to have Chris. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif
Mind you getting some one else to buy for you works for me too. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif
One other thing,at least you can stamp yourself as "Made in UK"

Received my superlite wheels from Hap last week. They are beautiful. I mounted BF Goodrich 175/70/13 on the rims. They fit, not much clearance between the rear leaf springs and tire, only a quarter of an inch. Still a month or two away from a highway drive. So no real test.
Thanks Hap, your suggestion and advice was once again a good one. Very busy today and then off to work for 4 days so I doubt if I will get a chance to photo the car with Haps amazing wheels, I will try
Phil

I was under the impression that you could not put these style wheels on a square arch... so, would this be done for a knock-off style hub (w/out converting to lugs)?
